Another Dream

I’m hanging out outside for a little bit then go inside to see what the people inside are doing. I look over at a digital clock in the kitchen and it says 9:20. I ask if it’s the morning or evening, mentioning that it shouldn’t be as dark as it is outside of it were the morning. I can’t remember getting a clear response from them but conclude that it is in fact the morning so I go back outside to investigate. After scanning the sky, I notice one side is a little brighter than the other, like it is a few hours after sunset. I continue to search, looking for the moon, find it overhead but am only looking at it for a second when I notice that it looks like it is blocking the sun like an eclipse. In this split second I think it’s an eclipse because there was a bright edge around the left part of the moon, I have never actually seen an eclipse in person. Immediately I see a planet which looks like the earth soar by the moon, becoming bigger and bigger until it makes impact way off in the distance. Realizing this collision was massive and without any time to warn the people inside, I take cover between two tree and hold on tightly. Anticipating the intense quake, I awake from my dream.
I do not know if this dream has any importance but this is an abnormal dream. I do not always have vivid dreams but this dream felt real (as most do while dreaming) and was certainly unique. I’m not saying my dream will come true but I still wanted to share. I have heard of some people talk about a planet called Nibiru but have not thought much into it. I have also read about the three days of darkness and remember in my dream thinking that this may be why it was dark in the morning. My prior knowledge and readings of such things may influence my dreams or I have these dreams because I’ll be able to understand the dream given to me, not sure which, and won’t ever know for sure until the prophecies of the Bible are fulfilled.

Revelation 2 & 3 Commentary

2:7
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”
This is a promise: Over come the sinful nature and you will inherit eternal life.
2:17b
“I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it known only to him who receives it.”
A reference to our new bodies that will be given to us after Jesus returns, and God the Father will name us himself.
2:23
“Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.”
God knows who we are: what we do and what we think. Salvation does not come by our own actions but God will judge us based on our actions. There is no way of knowing whether God will have mercy on anyone else other than ourselves, so it futile to think about such things. Don’t judge others, it is useless and God will use that judgement against you (Matthew 7:2). If you are unsure whether or not God will save you, search your heart because this is what God will do, search the Bible for understanding and reassurance. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). This is one of my favorite verses because if you put forth effort into getting to know God, He will extend His arm and draw you near. This is not to say that it will happen immediately, but if your intentions are true and you continue to seek, it’s only a matter of time until you’ll feel His presence and His love. Know for certain whether you will be able to stand before Him when the day comes. Live in such a way that God will consider you holy each day as if it were the last.
3:10
“Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.”
There will be a rapture before the “great tribulation”. Only the pure of heart from the tribes of Israel will be taken at this time. After the world has suffered, those that have repented and are now blameless in the sight of the Lord will be made holy and join the raptured for a short time in heaven. Wickedness will be completely defeated and the earth will be renewed for the righteous to inhabit and live forevermore.
3:19
“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
The reason for the lifestyles to live by and sins to avoid that is mentioned throughout the Bible is so we can be molded into beings that God intends us to be. This world is corrupt but it will not always be this way, so turn away from the sinful desires and get rid of the sickness found in this world in preparation for His return.
Is it better to be found guilty and repent or to continue living in our sinful ways without remorse? When God rebukes us, we feel guilt for doing what we ought not to. This conviction should only serve to move us towards repentance and to seek forgiveness in order to live righteously. We should not continue to feel guilty because if we are rebuked, this means He loves us. God’s love for us and our love for Him is what life is all about. When we are loved by the One who is in control of all things, there is nothing better; no other source of love is as comforting or fulfilling.

Last Night’s Dream

I was in an apartment in New York City. An earthquake occurred making us wobble and I thought about how larger earthquakes would feel and if I could stand during those (specifically thinking about the Nepal earthquake the day prior). We went outside on the porch- my stepfather (Dave) and my mom, followed by me and my brother (Tim). It started raining apples and we could not fathom how it could be possible. Back inside I remember hearing some theory from Dave but looking over to Tim with an disapproving look of “yeah right” each time he said something. The falling apples stopped for a little while then continued some more. I heard Dave mock that some people considered it the coming wrath of God, and realized that is exactly what it was. I looked again at my brother shaking my head in agreement, that God’s wrath is soon to be upon us (I don’t know why I was not speaking but also remember not being completely convinced that it would be coming soon). Tim mentions this to my mom and Dave and I confirmed that this is what I thought. I remember having a bad feeling about being in the city. I see the waters starting to cover the ground, flooding a few feet throughout the city. I remembered the prophecy told by Efrain Rodriquez and wondered if what was to happen was what he had spoke of. That I had not heeded the warning by staying away from the city. Tim and I went outside, joining my mom and Dave, and it was overcast and an eerie feeling was in the air. I asked Dave to show me where in the city we were on a map to decide if it was plausible that we might escape judgement if we were far enough away from the city. I looked at the map and was comforted for a second because I was slightly inland but realized in the bigger picture that we were pretty much still apart of New York City on the map and still close to the coast. As soon as I looked up from the map, a horn sounded throughout the sky coming from the direction of the city. I told everyone to quickly get inside but only Tim followed. Inside and still hearing the horn it sounded like the tornado warning horn that a city blasts when weather conditions are bad. Worried that my mom did not come inside, and curious as to what was coming. I looked out through the window towards the direction where the noise is heard, the city. My brother is in the kitchen, wondering what I saw. It was a gray cloud that covered the sky all the way across the horizon. I heard my brother say it was the Angel of Death referring to the the name of the God when he brought death upon the firstborn of Egypt. It was storming through the city, slowly at first, then all at once, coming towards us. It was faster than anything I have ever seen, the clouds billowed mightily then raced across the landscape in our direction. I have no explanation for how it would be possible if it were naturally occurring. I yelled at my brother to get down and pray to God to save, as he turned to run to the next room for protection, but he listened and did as I told because we had very little time given how fast the cloud was moving toward us. It was upon us in 2 seconds from the time I turned from the window to warn my brother. I remember getting down as my brother did too, covering our faces and praying. I felt the cloud reach us, all around, and my brother disappearing (though I did not look up). I then awoke immediately, asking what the meaning of this dream was, but instantly realized it was explicit.
